Search Foundry (“we”, “us”) operates https://www.searchfoundry.nz as a New Zealand marketing and enquiry site for digital infrastructure, search, branding, publishing support, hosting and related project work. Where a separate legal entity name is published, that entity is the organisation responsible for this site; until then, enquiries are handled under the Search Foundry brand (Search Foundry).

What we collect

We only collect personal information you choose to give us, typically when you:

• submit the project enquiry form on the contact page
• email or call us using published contact details (when available)
• interact with essential technical features needed to run the site securely

Enquiry fields may include your name, email address, phone number, location, organisation, type of help requested, and your message. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers or sensitive health or identity documents through the public form.

Why we collect it

We use enquiry information to:

• respond to your request and discuss a possible engagement
• route work to the right delivery pathway inside Search Foundry
• keep basic records of correspondence related to that enquiry

We do not add you to a marketing list by default when you submit an enquiry. If we ever offer an optional newsletter or similar, we will ask for clear consent separately.

How forms are processed

Enquiry submissions are sent to our designated form handling service so we can receive and reply to messages. That provider processes the content of your submission in order to deliver it to us. Spam-protection measures may run as part of that process.

If the enquiry form is temporarily unavailable, please try again later or use any published email address on this site.

Cookies and analytics

See our cookies notice for details. We aim to avoid non-essential marketing cookies unless we introduce analytics or similar tools and update that notice. Essential technical cookies or similar storage may be required for security or form spam protection.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share enquiry details with people or systems involved in responding to your request (for example delivery partners working on a Search Foundry engagement), or when required by law. Hosting and infrastructure providers that operate this website may process technical data needed to deliver the site.

Retention

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting work, then for a reasonable period for business records, after which it is deleted or archived according to our internal practices.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to lawful exceptions. To make a privacy request, use the enquiry form .

Overseas storage

Some infrastructure or form providers may process data outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure information is handled carefully and only as needed to operate this site and respond to enquiries.

Changes

We may update this notice when our practices or tools change. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
